  • I arrive 1 hour prior to your drinks reception to get set up. I bring all of my supplies with the exception of a table and a chair unless requested.

I am available anywhere from 5-6 hours on-site. On average, I can draw 1 guest in roughly 5-6 minutes & 2 guests in roughly 10-12 minutes. Please take into account transition times between each guest/drawing. I can draw approximately 4-6 couples or 8-10 guests per hour.

I will bring a sign that explains to guests what I am doing and how they can participate.

They will be happy to know that they will not be asked to stand in front of me while I paint them. Instead, I ask them to pose for a photo. I take that photo and use it for reference while they get to enjoy the reception.

Over the course of 5 hours I can paint roughly 45-50 guests.

Generally, I take photos of the guests during the cocktail hour. I can then move my set-up into the dinner and guests can come over throughout the evening to watch and ask questions. I keep painting as many as possible for the duration of time you’ve chosen.

I enclose the final paintings in a protective sleeve and display them on the table. This becomes a tiny pop-up gallery for your guests. They will enjoy looking at these during the meal as they recognize themselves and others. They are free to take their own as soon as it’s complete.

Depending on your wedding guest list size, not all guests may get drawn. Please keep in mind, not everyone will ask for a portrait as well. I do offer an add-on rate of $400/hr for studio painting that will cover additional portraits to be completed after your wedding and mailed directly to you to include in their thank you card.
