A little bit about me
I have a confession about why I love weddings beyond the obvious; I met my husband at a wedding. You can even read about it here in The NY Times. Being a live watercolor guest painter at weddings means I get to paint the wonder of the moment over and over. I love live guest painting and at this point have had the joy of painting thousands of wedding guests, brides, grooms, and family members. I also work with top brands to enhance the customer experience by painting at product launches and brand activations. I studied Studio Art and Art History from The University of Michigan. I have worked in the arts in many sectors: art consultation and curation, advertising, product/package design, fashion design, and illustration as well as working in the travel and tourism industry. After receiving my masters degree in Childhood General and Special Education from Bank Street College I went on to teach art to special education students. I still present many professional development talks on art and student engagement. I find joy in painting in all media. Collaborating with clients on their vision is an honor and it feeds my soul.
When I’m not painting and/or training my four pawed assistant, Bluebelle, you can find me with my handsome husband Catskillin’ it in beautiful Woodstock, NY wishing our three children lived closer by.
